If yes, you may be at risk of developing cirrhosis of the liver even if you do not drink alcohol or experience symptoms. 40% of the population has fatty liver. Up to 40% of those are at the risk of developing cirrhosis within 5 to 10 years. Currently, there are no therapies approved for the treatment of NASH. To prevent or slow disease progression, physicians commonly recommend lifestyle changes including diet and exercise.
Qualified participants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older and
- Have been diagnosed with NASH
Qualified participants receive:
- Study-related care and investigational medication at no cost and
- Compensation for time and travel
